Sheila Colla searches for Bombus affinis

Sheila Colla is an expert on bumblebees and has helped us identify the species in our collection.  She is a Pollinator Project Leader at Wildlife Preservation Canada.  This article from the Vancouver Sun is about her search for the rusty-patched bumblebee, which is on the brink of extinction.  The article was published in August 2012 and recently won an award for its author.
